Spiritual Application!

Spiritual Applications!
I went to church today and Pastor Radford talked about the Tabernacle, Symbols, Types and Spiritual applications. Scriptural Type or Symbolism. It was very interesting and I learned a lot and how to apply it. There is no beginning and no end. Alpha and Omega. From the old Testament to Revelation. If you read the old testament in a spiritual application everything pertains to Jesus coming. And in Jesus Parables are all spiritual applications. Once you understand that the possibilities are endless and you will read the Bible with new eyes and a different understanding. Here are some examples.
1. Jonah was in the Whales belly for three days and God told the whale to cough up Jonah and he did. Jesus was in the tomb for three days and he risen.

............
Jonah 1:17, 2:9-10
17 But the LORD provided a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights.9 But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD." 10 And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

Jonah 3:1-5 Jonah Goes to Nineveh
1 Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time: 2 "Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you." 3 Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very important city—a visit required three days. 4 On the first day, Jonah started into the city. He proclaimed: "Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned." 5 The Ninevites believed God. The declared a fast, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.

2. Moses was in the Wilderness with the Israelites for 40 years.

Jesus was in the Wilderness for 40 days. Each day counted as 1 year in Moses time.
Num. 14:33-34
Israel wanders for forty years in the wilderness for their sin.
33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. 34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

Num. 32:13
13 And the Lord’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord, was consumed.
Deut. 2:7
7 For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knows thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
Psalm

95:10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generations and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
Amos 2:10, 5:25
10 Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite. 25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
On the way home I had to think of Moses and the Rock. I saw in one of my Vision how the Water was flowing out of the rock and came gushing towards me. I called the letter Fountain of Life. On 9/21/07 You can check it on my blogspot on the Internet if you are interested. This is the Website

Before going home I stopped at Stacy’s and she ask me what I learned new today and I told her and all of a sudden I realized and told her what just popped in my Head. It’s like a light bulb goes on and I call it Revelation. See God told Moses to speak to the Rock but Moses was mad at the Israelites and he struck the rock with his chaff so he disobeyed the Lord and he did not get to go into the Promise land because of it. God only let him look at it and after that he died. Disobeying is a sin in Gods eyes. Stacy and I looked at each other and at the same time we lifted or hands up and thanked Jesus and praised him for taking on our sins. We realized the gravity of it, because we all sin and nobody would make it to heaven if Jesus would not have died for our Sins.
Thank you Jesus. See Jesus is the only one who didn’t Sin but the Devil tried to tempt him when he was Forty Days in the Wilderness, but he did not succeed.

Numbers 20 Water From the Rock
1 In the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried. 2 Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. 3 They quarreled with Moses and said, "If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD! 4 Why did you bring the LORD'S community into this desert, that we and our livestock should die here? 5 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!" 6 Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them. 7 The LORD said to Moses, 8 "Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink." 9 So Moses took the staff from the LORD'S presence, just as he commanded him. 10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, "Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?" 11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank. 12 But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them."
Deuteronomy 34:4-6
4 Then the LORD said to him, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it." 5 And Moses the servant of the LORD died there in Moab, as the LORD had said. 6 He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is.

Josh. 5:6
6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: unto whom the Lord swore that he would not show them the land, which the Lord swore unto their fathers that he would give us,
a land that flowed with milk and honey.
Numbers 13:26-28 Report on the Exploration
26 They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. There they reported to them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 They gave Moses this account: "We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. 28 But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.
Matthew 4 The Temptation of Jesus
1Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. 2After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6"If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.7 Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'[
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9"All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."
10Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only. 11Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him

Psalm 103:19
The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
Matthew 18:4
Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 13:33
He told them still another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough."
